What Wonderful News for our Herne Hill Childrens Musical Adventure Group! We love being part of such an exciting group and what an accolade for them all.
Heres what they told us:
We have just been appointed Ensemble In Residence for The Commonwealth Resounds – the music arm of the Commonwealth.
It’s a real honour for us and our community children’s concerts (the Herne Hill one of which you sponsor) were no small part of our being chosen. They are promoting us not only as a performing ensemble for concerts and providing background music for events, but also sending us out into the Commonwealth to share music around the world through our children’s concerts and music workshops. We’re also going to try to team up with some musicians abroad to make some cross cultural projects so it’s all very fascinating to see how this will develop.
We’re so grateful for your ongoing support of our Herne Hill children’s events and look forward to continuing this with you, our next Musical Adventure is planned for the October half term!
