Welcome to my newly relaunched ‘Love Herne Hill’ blog!
Today marks an exciting new chapter for Love Herne Hill – my longtime passion project, my outlet, and the conduit that allows me to share news with you, my neighbours, friends and friends to be, in this wonderful slice of South London.
Many of you already know me, but for those who don’t, let me briefly introduce myself…
I’m Wendy, a lifelong resident of Herne Hill and the proud co-owner of our longstanding family estate agency, Petermans Estate Agents, located up on Herne Hill itself – established by my father and uncle back in the 1960s and now operated today by myself and my cousin Howard.
We have been a part of this fantastic community for decades, and our roots here run deep.
Whilst my day-to-day role is focused on local property in SE24, I am equally passionate about Herne Hill itself – its independent local businesses, vibrant events, beautiful parks and, above all, the fantastic people who live here.
The Love Herne Hill blog has been around for some time, but it was time for a refresh. I want to create something bigger and better that truly reflects the dynamic and vibrant spirit of modern Herne Hill – to provide a vibrant digital hub, dedicated to celebrating and supporting our wonderful local community.
Today, with its fresh new look, I am delighted to not only unveil this revamped blog site, but also to pledge my commitment to take it further than ever before.
This updated site will be a central, lively space that not only keeps you informed about our fast-paced local property scene and shares news (and my opinion of the news!) that affects our local housing market, but which also serves as a platform where the community can come to learn about local achievements, local affairs and local events.
